LION adds to rescue wear line with new MEDPRO EMS garment

DAYTON, Ohio – LION, the world’s premier manufacturer of firefighter personal protective equipment (PPE), added yet another garment to a strong line of rescue wear products.

LION introduced MedPro, a new high-performance, NFPA 1999 certified EMS garment, at FDIC in Indianapolis. MedPro is designed to answer any emergency medical call, and its advanced construction and optional enhancements ensure comfort, safety, and mobility.

MedPro’s standard features include a breathable, durable, fire-resistant outer shell constructed of Westex® DH with Hydropel Premier finish. This outer shell provides comfortable and durable protection in the event of flash fires and is available in high-vis yellow (ANSI 107-compliant) and navy blue. MedPro also features a durable Gore CROSSTECH® EMS moisture barrier to protect against blood, bodily fluids and water, while also remaining breathable.

LION included several mobility features as well, such as a banded crotch, underarm bellows and bi-swing back, which moves with the wearer alleviating stress while working. Reinforcements on knees, elbows and cuffs offer increased durability while functional pockets provide easy tool access and versatility.

Available for order now in male and female cuts, with numeric sizing, take-up straps, and zippered legs, MedPro offers a custom fit that is easy to don and doff.
