Man arrested after stealing Texas ambulance

AUSTIN, Texas — A man who stole an ambulance was arrested Saturday after leading police on a multi-city pursuit.

David Oliver III, 43, was arrested and charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and evading arrest, reported KAGS.

EMS personnel reported the ambulance missing while they were transporting a patient into a medical center.

Authorities pursued Oliver through several areas outside Austin’s city limits. Oliver was apprehended about half an hour later after stealing the vehicle.

There were no reported injuries during the incident.
