SUSSEX, England — A paramedic has been kicked out of the profession for taking part in a sex act while on a 999 call.
South East Coast Ambulance Service paramedic John Gale worked in Sussex although a Health and Care Professions’ Council (HCPC) hearing banned his full address being given. A displinary panel was told Gale responded to a 999 call at a home during a night shift where he encountered three drunken women including the patient, who was complaining of stomach pains.
During the call, one of the women – a friend of the patient – made sexually suggestive comments to Gale and told him he had a “nice bum”. She then performed a sex act on him.
