CARLISLE, Pa. — Cumberland Goodwill Emergency Medical Services will no longer have to worry about missing equipment from the station’s ambulances.

Cumberland Goodwill EMS, joined by Sen. Patricia H. Vance and Congressman Lou Barletta, recognized the awarding of a federal assistance to firefighters grant, totaling $37,728, to the Carlisle station by FEMA.

The grant will fund the station’s Community Paramedicine/Mobile Integrated Healthcare program, Cumberland Goodwill EMS Chief Robert Pine said, and will also go towards funding the purchase of emergency equipment for the program.
