Staff and contractors have reported seeing the logo of an Iran-linked hacking group appear on company devices, MLive reports.
When a call was placed to a Stryker facility in Portage, a recorded message stated: “We are currently experiencing a building emergency.”
According to Crain’s Grand Rapids Business, an Iranian-affiliated hacking group claimed responsibility for the attack in a post on X.
The group said the company was targeted in part in “retaliation for the brutal attack on the Minab school,” referencing an Iranian school reportedly destroyed during the war.
