FORT WORTH, Texas — Three kids and their families participated in MedStar’s annual trick-or-treat event in partnership with neighborhoods in Fort Worth.

The children, who need medical assistance, were taken by a MedStar crew in an ambulance and escorted door-to-door with their families by personnel.

The children would not otherwise have been able to experience Halloween with their families if it were not for the presence of the EMTs and paramedics.

The first crew consisted of Kimberly Sherrod, Brandon Pate and Susan Pelton. The second crew included Tyler Morris, Cody Hughes and Angela Lehman. The third team included Kathleen Leikam, Tamara Souffront and Anita Meadows.
