LAKEWOOD RANCH, Fla. — “How do you know where to land?” asked Ava Barnell, 5.

“Can you see kids when you are way up in the air?” Julian Morris, 6, quickly chimed in.

“Do you drop it down into the water if someone is drowning?” said Reanna Hacket, also 6.

They were just a few questions curious Gullett Elementary students asked a team of flight paramedics Friday at their Lakewood Ranch school.

Bayflite, Manatee County Emergency Medical Services and Manatee Memorial Hospital representatives visited the school to educate children about strokes.
