BATON ROUGE, La. — A woman was arrested after attacking an EMS crew by biting, scratching and hitting them.
WAFB reported that Crystal Arnold was being transported by ambulance when the attack began, according to the crew. Two EMS providers said they were scratched by Arnold, and two others were hit and bitten.
One EMS provider was allegedly bitten so hard on her finger that it was broken, and she needed stitches.
Arnold also allegedly kicked a hole in an ambulance panel. She claims she does not remember the incident, and was charged with three counts of battery of EMS personnel, second degree battery and criminal damage to property.
