NAZARETH, Pa. — A woman is in custody for allegedly kicking an EMT in the neck, according to police.
WFMZ reported that police arrested Catherine Burke for driving under the influence after she stopped in the middle of a street multiple times.
While in custody, Burke allegedly claimed she had a hearing problem and threw herself on the floor, claiming she was having a seizure.
An EMS crew was called and she began shouting expletives at them and kicked one EMT in the neck.
Burke was transported to the hospital and allegedly had to be held down by four hospital employees.
Police charged Burke with aggravated assault, DUI, false identification to law enforcement, harassment and disorderly conduct.
