After receiving nearly four inches of rain over a 48 period, our area is drenched. The soaking rains have kept road crews and Fire and EMS crews extremely busy.
“Storms, the tail end of hurricanes, tropical storms, we always know we are going to get hit hard. As you can see we have eight people in the station tonight because we knew we were going to be busy and we are,” said Stony Point Volunteer Firefighter Bill Lawrence.
