A Fire Department EMT was arrested last night in Stapleton a few blocks from his home for driving drunk and leaving the scene of an accident.
Daniel Stewart, 44, of Park Hill Avenue in Clifton, was picked up at around 8 p.m. at Osgood Avenue and Targee Street.
He allegedly hit another car on Cebra Avenue and Rosewood Place and left the scene, according to a Police Department spokesman. The driver of the car allegedly hit by Stewart provided a description to police.
