John A. Dorgan, 32, of 5267 Eaton Brook Road, West Eaton, was sentenced Friday in Madison County Court by Judge Biagio DiStefano to one to three years in state prison. Dorgan pleaded guilty to one felony count of attempted dissemination of indecent material to minors.
He was arrested in December and charged with several felonies, including possession of a sexual performance by a child. He was accused of attempting to send pornography to an underage girl.
He was an emergency medical technician and executive board member of the West Eaton Volunteer Ambulance Corps. The group’s president has said Dorgan will not be allowed to return if convicted of a felony.
