A study committee established to decide how to change the county’s emergency medical services system is continuing to work toward developing a recommendation.
Last month, the committee heard proposals from county staff, a private company and a local group that would be a nonprofit on how to run the system.
Committee members have the option of picking one of the three groups or developing another alternative. Once they have made their decision their recommendation will go to the Board of Commissioners, who will make the final decision if any change is to be made. ...
