CLARE COUNTY, MI — An ambulance response time controversy heated up in Mid-Michigan today. It happened at the Clare County commissioners meeting this morning.

It’s part of an issue outlined by the WNEMTV-5 I-Team last week, centering around the Mobile Medical Response ambulance service based in Saginaw.

The WNEM TV5 I-team introduced you to Judy Weber last week. She’s concerned about MMR ambulance response times in Clare County. Her husband Paul died last fall following a heart attack, and Weber says part of the reason could be because an MMR took too much time getting to their rural home.
