NEW YORK — Two men were arrested after stealing an FDNY supervisor’s vehicle Saturday night.
Officials said the vehicle, a red GMC Sierra that bears the FDNY letters, was stolen while it was idling in front of a hospital. Police used the vehicle’s GPS system to track the suspects, who were arrested a half hour later.
Joshua Gicead, 31, and Jorge Santiago, 54, were charged with grand larceny, petty larceny and unauthorized use of a vehicle, reported the New York Daily News.
The vehicle is operated by an EMS lieutenant and paramedic.
