RALEIGH, N.C. — A woman was arrested after allegedly crashing into a car dealership and then ramming her vehicle into the ambulance that responded to the scene.
WRAL reported that Karen McGlasson Harold significantly damaged the Cabriolet Motors dealership building as well as several expensive cars when she crashed into it, according to police.
Police said when responders arrived, Harold tried to run over a firefighter before “unlawfully and willfully” crashing her car into an ambulance that had two people inside.
Harold’s arrest warrant also said that she tried to ram her vehicle into another ambulance.
Police arrested Harold and charged her with assault with a deadly weapon on a government official, felony hit and run injury and assault with a deadly weapon.
No one was seriously injured in the incident.
