WAGONER COUNTY, Okla. — A 29-year-old man led Oklahoma troopers on a highway chase when he stole an ambulance from the hospital.
According to 6 Oklahoma’s Own, Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers responded to a call concerning a stolen Wagoner County ambulance. A trooper spotted the ambulance with its flashing lights and sirens on.
To stop the ambulance, police use stop sticks and flattened three of the emergency vehicle’s tires before it came to a stop. Police arrested Devion Smith, 29, for stealing the ambulance.
Authorities said no one was injured.
