SEDGWICK COUNTY, Kan. — A collision between a car and an ambulance in Kan. sent two paramedics to the hospital early Monday morning.
The ambulance was knocked on its side, while the force of the collision caused the car to careen into a nearby business, according to The Wichita Eagle. No patients were in the ambulance at the time of the accident in Sedgwick County.
According to KSN, the car ran a red light and initiated the impact.
One paramedic suffered bad bruising, while the other had a broken ankle and clavicle and may require surgery. The driver of the car sustained minor injuries.
The accident is still under investigation.
