STANTON, Calif. — Four people were hospitalized after a suspected drunk driver collided with an ambulance Monday.
Three EMS providers in the Care Ambulance Service rig were hurt, along with John Dantzler, 27, who was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. He is being held in lieu of $100,000 bail, the Orange County Register reports.
Dantzler was driving a Dodge Charger southbound on Beach Boulevard when he’s believed to have struck the ambulance, which was traveling westbound on Garden Grove Boulevard.
None of the injuries are life-threatening.
