LOWELL, Mass. — An EMT was injured when an ambulance and another vehicle collided at an intersection around 1:30 a.m. Saturday.
Witnesses say the ambulance ended up on its side, and two EMTs jumped out to aid the people in the car — possibly a couple of women and a child, WHDH reports.
An EMT was the only person on the scene who ended up needing treatment.
The ambulance was not carrying a patient, and police are investigating the crash. The driver of the car was cited for a lane violation.
