WASHINGTON, D.C. — Multiple people were injured after a vehicle crashed into an ambulance responding to another call.
FOX 5 reports that a woman crashed her vehicle into a stopped ambulance that was responding to a call about a potential stabbing.
The driver had to be pulled from her car by first responders, who said she suffered “critical and potentially life-threatening injuries.” The passenger also incurred minor injuries.
The patient being treated inside the ambulance was transferred to another emergency vehicle and transported.
Officials are still investigating the cause of the crash.
