St. Louis paramedic injured in hit-and-run ambulance crash

Officials say the driver of the vehicle that struck the ambulance was arrested after allegedly fleeing the scene

ST. LOUIS — A St. Louis paramedic was injured in a hit-and-run crash Wednesday morning. 

The medic was in an ambulance en route to pick up a patient when the rig was struck by another vehicle, according to FOX 2 Now

Officials said the other vehicle left the scene after the collision. The paramedic sustained minor injuries. 

The driver of the other vehicle was later arrested, authorities said. A second ambulance arrived to pick up the patient.
