Multiple victims reported in Ala. ambulance crash

Regional Paramedical Services stated one of their ambulances was involved and offered thoughts and prayers to those involved

TALLADEGA COUNTY, Ala. — An ambulance was involved in a wreck Tuesday afternoon in Talladega County that reportedly injured multiple people.

Regional Paramedical Services, which owns the ambulance, said the vehicle was involved in a collision near Sylacauga.

“We are currently in the process of gathering information and working with the investigators surrounding the accident,” David Waid, the company’s vice president, said in a statement. “Our immediate thoughts and prayers are with all the individuals and families involved.”

Authorities could not be reached for additional details on the wreck.

WBRC reported the accident involved multiple victims.
