BALTIMORE — A car crashed into an ambulance on a Maryland highway after swerving to avoid an obstacle in the road.
Police said the car was dodging a refrigerator that was in its lane when the crash occurred. The incident led to additional vehicles crashing, forcing a closure of three lanes of traffic, WJZ 13 reported.
The ambulance was not transporting patients at the time of the crash.
