NASHUA, N.H. — Part of Amherst Street in Nashua was closed for a couple of hours Sunday afternoon after an ambulance struck a car at the intersection of Henri Burque Highway.

A Milford Ambulance with a patient on board proceeded into the intersection and struck a Nissan Maxima operated by Joseph Aucoin of Nashua, police said.

The attendants in the ambulance suffered minor injuries; they were treated at the Medical Center and released.

The crash remains under investigation.
