HEWITT, Texas — Cody “Milkman” Muelker can still recall the painful memories from an unbelievable accident on March 18, 2012."All my bones in the ankle region were grinded into the pavement,” said Muelker, a paramedic with Lake Whitney EMS.

Muelker was riding in an ambulance with a patient and two other paramedics on the 18th when the ambulance rolled over off of Gholson Road in Waco."For some reason we lost control,” he said. “The ambulance overturned and trapped my foot underneath it as it was sliding down the highway.”

Muelker said the accident happened on what should have been a routine trip to Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center. But even after the ambulance was flipped on its side and onto his foot, Muelker says his first concern was still his patient.
