SANTA ANA, Calif. — A car slammed into two disabled vehicles on the highway as EMTs were treating the two patients inside.
EMTs from Orange County Fire Authority had responded Sunday at 2:30 a.m. to a two-car collision on the side of the 5 Freeway, NBC Los Angeles reports.
A third car rammed into the disabled cars. Four people were examined and one was transported to a local hospital with moderate injuries, according to California Highway Patrol.
Alcohol is believed to have been a factor, and the incident is under investigation.
