Who responds to mental health emergencies in your area?

This week, FDNY EMS union officials expressed concerns about a plan to send EMS to mental health emergency calls without police, and with social workers instead.

Denver and San Francisco have recently replaced or planned to replace police with mental health professionals in some situations as well, while Eugene, Oregon, has had a similar program for decades.
