EAST BRUNSWICK – A family’s popular holiday light display, which has raised funds for various causes over the years, will dedicate this year’s donations in memory of a fallen Spotswood emergency medical technician.

The Kloos Family Lights will honor Hinal Patel, 22, of Piscataway, who was killed in July when the ambulance she was riding in was struck by a car in the township.

Patel grew up in Piscataway and volunteered for the North Stelton Volunteer Fire Co.'s rescue squad beginning in 2012. She was working for Spotswood EMS and interning at Actavis in Elizabeth as she readied to start medical school in Newark this fall. She graduated from Rutgers University in May.

This Saturday is First Responders Night! Please join us as we remember Hinal Patel of Spotswood First Aid and contribute towards a scholarship in her honor. Please share this post with all friends! Thank you!
