VINELAND, N.J. — Six people, including a 4-year-old child, were injured Tuesday afternoon when an ambulance and a Honda Accord collided at Delsea Drive and Sherman Avenue.
A Belleplain Emergency Corps ambulance crew was on a non-emergency transport to the nearby South Jersey Healthcare Regional Medical Center when the crash occurred just after 2 p.m., said William King, the corps’ assistant chief, who responded to the scene.
The two ambulance workers on board as well as their patient were taken to the hospital, King said, noting their injuries did not appear to be life-threatening.
