CHIHUAHUA, Mexico — In a brazen display of shear madness, an apparently unhinged man plunged a pair of scissors into the brain of a fellow bar patron, who then politely asked for assistance at a hospital.
Jonas Acevedo Monroy, 32, nicknamed “The Gentleman,” was enjoying himself at the bar in Chihuahua in northwest Mexico before the ghastly assault, Central European News reported.
“Jonas was as always full of high spirits and was being charming with everyone in the bar when one of the locals took umbrage,” said friend Nandor Altamirano Carvajal, 30. “He came over and started trying to wind Jonas up, but when that didn’t work, he started getting abusive and aggressive.”
