LONDON — A London Ambulance Service paramedic is facing four charges of misconduct after allegedly using his work email to distribute pornographic images of a female colleague who refused to resign.
The incident occurred when LAS paramedic Guy Tanner released the sexual photos and videos to colleagues at the Deptford Ambulance Station, the Health and Care Professions Council and the media on October 3, 2013, Mirror UK reports.
Tanner is accused of trying to force the woman to resign between September and October 2013, by threatening to circulate the pornnography stored on his phone and laptop. He allegedly gave her ultimatums through text messages, saying she had until the end of the month to leave LAS.
“You have a week to go or I will go through with it,” one of the messages reportedly read. He released the material when she refused.
Tanner did not attend a recent hearing, citing health problems.
