OLYMPIA, Wash. — Moments after another vehicle slammed into his RV on Saturday, Tim Andruss, an off-duty Bellevue firefighter/emergency medical technician, sprang into action to deliver emergency care to the woman driving the car that struck his vehicle in the 8700 block of Yelm Highway.
Andruss’ recreational vehicle was broken in two by the force of the collision.
Washington State Patrol trooper Guy Gill said Monday that it’s nothing short of amazing that Andruss “still finds it within himself to render aid in this situation.”
