WASHINGTON, Ill. — Recently released footage shows the terrifying moment a tornado destroyed a family’s home after storms swept across the Midwest Sunday.
The hardest hit towns were uprooted by an EF4 twister and one of the storm’s survivors, Marc Wells, captured this footage of the tornado’s assault on his home.
Wells and his daughter Jose were not injured. “Here is what my oldest daughter Josie Taylor Wells and I experienced,” Wells writes in the video’s description. “I am so glad Kerry Wells and the other girls were out of town when this storm came through.”
