SHINSHIRO, Japan — A doctor died and dozens were injured after his car went airborne and into a tour bus.
Japan Times reported that a tour bus was heading out for a day of cherry picking and shopping when Masamitsu Ikuma, 62, lost control of his car and slammed head-on into the front of the bus.
Footage from a camera on the bus showed the car airborne before being catapulted over the median.
Ikuma was announced dead at the scene. Police said that 45 of the 47 people onboard the bus suffered injuries, including six with broken bones.
