WINSLOW TOWNSHIP, N.J. — EMT Joshua Brown, 21, died in a vehicle crash Sunday while on his way to work.
Officials said Brown collided with a vehicle and was thrown from his motorcycle onto the shoulder of the road.
The motorcycle veered off the road, broke into several pieces and hit a tree before landing in a grassy area. The battery of the motorcycle hit a vehicle driving the opposite direction, reported New Jersey 101.5.
The driver of the car was uninjured, and charges were not filed.
The road was closed for six hours while officials investigated.
Brown worked as an EMT at Exceptional Medical Transportation.
A GoFundMe page has been created to support Brown’s family and raise funds for proper funeral services.
