MALVERN, Pa. — The organizers of the EMS World Expo have announced that this year’s conference will be held as a virtual event due to COVID-19.
The online conference will be held Sept. 14-18, 2020, and those already registered for the conference, which was originally planned to take place in Las Vegas, will be automatically registered for the virtual experience, according to the EMS World Expo website.
The event will feature five days of sessions and workshops, which will be recorded and available to view for 12 months after the event, according to the virtual event FAQs page. The event will also include live Q&As for each session, daily live panel discussions and a virtual exhibit hall.
The virtual experience will be hosted in partnership with the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians.
The next in-person conference is scheduled for Oct. 4-8, 2021 in Atlanta at the Georgia World Conference Center. This year’s virtual conference will feature a competition to win prizes including free registration for next year’s event.
