BRAZOS RIVER, Texas — The Brazos River Authority is now equipped with a new piece of equipment to enable better patient care as the summer vacationing season nears.
The BRA purchased a rescue sled in October to assist emergency and fire department personnel with the extraction and transportation of injured parties.
The sled is currently available, should the need arise, and, according to Robert Box, chief lake ranger, BRA is prepared to use it.
