APCO Announces Third Annual Winter Summit

Daytona Beach, Fla. — The Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials (APCO) International announced today the topics for its Third Annual Winter Summit to be held Jan. 30 - Feb. 1, 2006 at the Orlando Airport Marriott in Orlando, Fla.

The Winter Summit is a three-day educational forum with the most up to date information on the most common issues with which the public safety communications community is dealing today brought to you by leading experts in their respective fields. The Third Annual Winter Summit will feature programs on Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), management issues such as planning and funding, Hurricane Katrina’s impact on public safety communications, interoperability, and the 800 MHz rebanding.
