DUNLO, Pa. — This Christmas, the celebration of the birth of a baby boy is taking on new meaning for a Dunlo woman and emergency medical responders who raced to her home to help bring the infant into the world.

Jacqueline Crum was full of gratitude for Dr. Herbert Schiffer, a second-year resident at Memorial Medical Center, and medical personnel of the Forest Hills Area Ambulance Association in St. Michael.

“He was the best. They were wonderful,” Crum said Thursday from the Regional Intensive Care Nursery at Memorial Medical Center in Johnstown.
