DULUTH, Minn. — First responders must be trained to deal with a wide variety of potential medical emergencies, and through the 35th Annual Arrowhead EMS Conference and Expo, they had a chance to refresh their skills.
The different services got the chance to show their craft and explain how they deal with the unique risks the job brings. Everything from ambulances to a bike EMS and even a helicopter were part of the expo.
The Life Link III Operations Manager Amy Saylor said this conference was an educational opportunity for all trades and notes the importance of everyone working together.
