Marquette County ambulances will get back on the road more quickly after emergency calls, thanks to a new computer system that allows EMTs to complete patient care reports and billing information on portable laptops.
Rather than filling out lengthy amounts of paperwork at the hospital, EMTs will be able to complete the necessary forms using a software program while en route to their home districts.
“It will put our ambulances back in their areas of protection 30 to 45 minutes sooner than they would normally be,” said EMS Director Tim Houslet.
