ANGOLA, Del. — Funeral arrangements are set for Sussex County paramedic Stephanie Callaway, who was killed in an ambulance accident this week near Angola.
The funeral for the 31-year-old mother of two will be held Saturday in Georgetown.
A viewing will be held at noon at the Delmarva Christian High School gymnasium. An honor guard and emergency personnel will then accompany the casket to the Carter Partnership Center at Delaware Technical and Community College. The memorial service will begin about 4:30 p.m.
The services will be open to the public.
Callaway was killed while riding in an ambulance that swerved to avoid a deer and hit a tree. The crash also killed 82-year-old patient Betty Hall. The driver and another emergency worker were injured.
