VANCOUVER, Canada — Police arrested a part-time employee of B.C. Ambulance Service after an investigation into downloaded images from a hidden camera in a women’s restroom, The Province reports.
A B.C. Ambulance spokeswoman said the employee was arrested at the station while not on duty, and has been fired.
“I can confirm that B.C. Ambulance Service was advised by the RCMP that a staff member in 100 Mile House was arrested at the station on (Saturday),” said spokeswoman Kelsie Carwithen. “We have been notified that this individual is not the unit chief.”
Police spokesman Cpl. Dave Tyreman said there is an ongoing investigation into voyeurism in the area.
