Saskatoon, SK - We are pleased to announce Crestline has been certified in Division 2 under CSA Standard W47.2 - Certification of companies for fusion welding of aluminum. Crestline has undergone a review and qualification process to ensure that we meet the requirements for welding as specified in CSA W47.2. Crestline is the only Canadian ambulance manufacturer to obtain the CWB Certification. Congratulations team in your efforts to meet these requirements!
A supervisor who is qualified under the CSA W47.2 standards makes sure that the company’s welding procedures covering all joints, processes and positions used in fabrication/erection are current and approved by the CWB, and that weld quality and workmanship are up to the levels specified by the design or product standard. CWB certified companies are required to employ an adequate number of Welding Supervisors, with welding related experience, to control welding operations.
