BOISE — In the last year, Ada County paramedics have responded to more than 20,000 emergencies, but the Boise Fire Department says they could help get to those calls quicker, if they had an ambulance too.
Darby Weston, Ada County paramedics deputy director says his crews don’t waste any time and reach 90 percent of their calls in less than nine minutes.
“We are absolutely dedicated to providing the highest levels of service for all of the communities that we serve and have been very successful in meeting that objective,” Weston said.
