CHISAGO CITY, Minn. — A two-vehicle crash involving a Unity Area Ambulance sent three people to area hospitals early Monday morning.
The crash was reported at 6:50 a.m. when an ambulance and van collided at the intersection of Pioneer Road and US-8 in Chisago City.
The ambulance was transporting a patient when it became involved in the accident, authorities at the scene said. North Air Care transported one patient to a Twin City hospital while two others went by ground transport.
