LifeBot recently announced the release of its compact mobile ALS Defibrillator.

The device weighs 2.8 pounds and measures 4.5 x 8.35 x 2.5 inches, making one of the smallest and lightest external advanced life support defibrillators.

The system incorporates single lead monitoring, noninvasive pacing, and manual or semi-automatic external defibrillation. In addition, pacing and cardioversion may be performed without changing electrode-pads.

The device incorporates a 4.8 inch display specifically designed to remain visible in outdoor environments and stores all acquired data and voice recordings for later review.

LifeBot currently has only released the device to international markets, while a U.S. version is in development.
