MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. — A volunteer paramedic in Montgomery County says she was pressured by other volunteers to leave the service after she publicly supported ambulance fees.
The county’s volunteer firefighters association opposes the fee, which is the topic of a question on the Nov. 2 general election ballot.
Pamela Boe, a medic at the Germantown fire station, said Monday that a letter she submitted to The Gazette last week prompted some volunteers and an attorney working for the association to criticize her.
