LAKE TRAVIS, Texas — A woman who survived being shot in the head reunited with the paramedics who saved her.
Spectrum News reported that Jaclyn Burden was shot in the head during a shooting that killed two people during a business dispute.
She is now recovering after undergoing major brain surgery, and she recently got to thank the paramedics who saved her life.
“I feel like they don’t get thanked enough,” Burden said. “I know a lot of times first responders go to an incident and the person either ends up deceased or they go on with their lives and they never actually take the time to go back and say thank you for saving me.”
